The research centre of the intuition coordinates

Library and information resources : rich sources of journals, periodicals, reference books, educational CD’s, WiFi and internet.

Computer science and Business laboratories : well –Equipped software, internet and multimedia facilities to facilitate power point presentations and research activities.

Research collaboration with reputed universities and research establishments among them : Grimsby institute of further and higher education , U. K; Universities of central Oklahoma, USA; Jawaharlal Nehru centre for advanced scientific research, Bangalore; Indian institute of science , Bangalore; centre for cellular and molecular biology, Hyderabad ;Bhabha atomic research centre, Mumbai etc.

Our Research centre is affiliated to Rayalaseema University (RU), Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh for the work leading to M.Phil / Ph.D. in Management and Commerce. Nine research scholars are at present pursuing research, guided by our research supervisors

The registration for Ph.D. and M. Phil takes place in two stages

  1. Enrollment :
  2. Enrollment takes place according to the admission procedure given by Rayalaseema University web site: www.rayalaseemauniversity.ac.in This should be strictly followed by candidates.

  3. Registration :
  4. After the admission/ enrollment, the candidates are expected to submit six copies of Ph.D. registration synopsis through the guide to the chairperson of the Doctoral Committee. The Doctoral Committee will conduct the pre-registration colloquium of the candidate within 15 days of the receipt of the synopsis. In the process of colloquium the Doctoral Committee has the right to accept or reject the synopsis or it may suggest modification or changes in the title, hypothesis formulated, objectives of the study or methodology, etc. in consultation with the guide. If the Doctoral Committee is satisfied, it may recommend to the Rayalseema University Authorities for registration.


Candidate should take care to ensure that the synopsis shall define clearly the objectives, methodology, their implications in terms of filling up the gaps in existing knowledge and usefulness of the study to the society.

After Enrollment:

  1. The Ph.D. or M.Phil Scholars should be available in the Research Centre (Seshadripuram Institute of Management Studies) at least on any two days in a week between 2 and 4 pm.
  2. Should publish/ present one research paper every six months. Non-publication of articles results in automatic cancellation of registration.
  3. Should purchase Rs.2, 500 worth of books for Research Centre Library once in every six months.
  4. Should subscribe at least two journals/ magazines for Research Centre. This subscription should be for a minimum of three years.
  5. The scholars are required to submit progress reports through their respective guides once in every three months. It will be presented before the Doctoral Committee. Any suggestion offered by the Doctoral Committee is binding.
  6. Once in every six month's progress report has to be submitted to the University as per the regulation of the University.
  7. They may have to help SIMS and Research Centre in both teaching and non-teaching activities.
