Anti-Ragging Cell

Anti-ragging cell has been formed to deal with any instance of indiscipline and ragging in the campus. The cell maintains good discipline and harmonious environment in the campus. The regulations of the Government and Bangalore University relating to anti-ragging and its avoidance has been exhibited in the campus. In the past no instance of the ragging is found in the college.

Youth Red Cross

Youth represents a substantial part of the membership of Red Cross for its humanitarian commitment. Youth volunteers can make a significant contribution in meeting the needs of most significant people within the local communities through Red Cross Youth Programmed. The main objectives of YRC are Health, Service and Friendship. Indian Red Cross Society conducts various workshops and health awareness programs, students of our college actively participate in all the events. Rally and Medical Camps are regularly conducted under the banner of YRC to uphold the values and principles of Red Cross society

This cell is formed To develop spirit/awareness on entrepreneurship among the students, To develop the advanced skill of creativity and innovative thinking, To empower and inspire students to take initiatives and accept responsibilities to thrive in the challenging world and To become employment creators than seekers.

Film Club- Anikethana

It is a Forum of visual canvas where students get the nuances of multi-disciplinary, multi-dimensional and multi-lingual visual life through audio and visual media. An effective tool to communicate the different aspects of life and society such as culture, polity, economy, education and so on so forth. It includes everyone and everything, it is beyond religion, caste, language, class, exploitation, racial discrimination and hatred, makes us to live in Forest culture.

With hold the concept- Vishwa Manava by breaking the prejudiced notions and structures.

STUDENDTS COUSELLING AND GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL COMMITTEE

Counselling aims at helping the clients understand and accept themselves “as they are”, and to help the student to help himself.

The main objective of counselling is to bring about a voluntary change in the client. For this purpose the counsellor provides facilities to help achieve the desired change or make the suitable choice.

The purpose of student counselling

To give the student information on matters important to success.
To get information about student which will be of help in solving his problems.
To establish a feeling of mutual understanding between student and teacher.
To help the student work out a plan for solving his difficulties.
To help the student know himself better-his interests, abilities, aptitudes, and opportunities.
To encourage and develop special abilities and right attitudes.
To inspire successful endeavour toward attainment.
To assist the student in planning for educational and vocational choices.
