Research

Research is a prime concern at S.F.G.C - alongside teaching and consultancy. The college has a research committee to facilitate, monitor and assist research; inculcate research culture; provide IT and secretarial assistance; ensure that research positively impacts teaching quality.

The institution promotes faculty participation in research granting them leave and financing their visits to institutions of research reputation. Research guides are paid honorarium. MPhil and Ph.D. holders are paid extra allowance. An annual provision of Rs 500000/- is set aside by SET for research activities undertaken by the faculty of S.F.G.C

Students of MBA, B.Sc., BCA and BBA are guided to work on research projects. Research project work is a part of their curriculum requirement. BA and B.Com students too are enabled through the projects work relevant to their disciplines, to get to know the basics of research methodology.
