MCA Admission – Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission into the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Applicants must have appeared for PGCET or KMAT entrance examinations.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) of minimum 3 years duration from any recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks (including languages).

The candidate must have studied Mathematics / Computer Science / Business Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Applications / Electronics as a subject at PUC / 12th grade / equivalent level or in their undergraduate degree.

Reservation and relaxation in eligibility for SC/ST and Category-I applicants will be granted as per Bengaluru City University norms.

50% of total seats are reserved under PGCET quota.

Admission Procedure For Management Quota

First-come, First-served basis

Students seeking admission under the Management Quota need not wait for PGCET results. They may visit the college directly and complete the admission process on a first-come, first-served basis.

Admission Procedure For PGCET Quota

Candidates must participate in the KEA counselling process.

After seat allotment based on ranking and college preference, candidates must pay the KEA fee and report to the college to complete the admission procedure.

Application Submission, Application forms must be correctly filled, signed by the applicant and parent/guardian, and submitted to the college office within the given timeline.

Applicants must submit the following documents at the time of admission:

Photocopies of 10th, 12th, and all semester UG marks cards
Aadhaar card photocopy
3 passport-size photographs
Caste & Income Certificate for students whose family annual income is below ₹3,00,000
Migration Certificate
Eligibility Certificate
