Overview

Seshadripuram First Grade College follows a Zero Tolerance Policy towards ragging and sexual harassment, ensuring a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment. The Anti-Ragging Cell functions in accordance with the guidelines of the UGC, Government of Karnataka, and Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

The institution has adopted a comprehensive, multi-pronged strategy to prevent ragging and promote awareness through academic integration, student engagement, and continuous monitoring mechanisms

Objectives
  • To completely eliminate ragging in all forms within the campus
  • To create awareness about the legal, academic, and social consequences of ragging
  • To ensure a safe and dignified environment for all students
  • To promote responsible behavior and mutual respect among students

Grievance Redressal Cell

Overview

The Grievance Redressal Cell provides students with a transparent and accessible platform to voice concerns related to academic, administrative, and institutional matters. The cell ensures fair resolution while maintaining confidentiality and impartiality.

Objectives
  • To address student grievances promptly and fairly
  • To maintain a harmonious academic environment
  • To promote transparency and accountability in institutional processes
  • To ensure students feel heard, supported, and respected
Working
  • Grievances may be submitted in writing or through designated suggestion boxes
  • Complaints are reviewed and discussed in committee meetings
  • Necessary corrective actions are implemented with management support
  • Feedback is communicated to the concerned stakeholders

The Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell is constituted in compliance with UGC regulations and Supreme Court guidelines to ensure a campus free from sexual harassment, intimidation, and discrimination.
