The dept of physical education at sfgc is a hub of activities all the year round.Various programmes are taken up across the year. Every academic year begins with team selections. The teams being formed, practice sessions by coaches are arranged. Practice is provided by expert coaches. Besides coaching in traditional games and sports,practice sessions are held in archery and fencing. Along side the practice regimen, matches are conducted in various games at every level right from interclass, state, national,university and interuniversity.

SFGC 's Physical Education Department has made a name for itself in cricket, shooting,fencing and American football.
